Today’s Walk

Ran across this in my devotional today. I’ve also started reading the practice of the presence of Good which has some interesting ideas.

The Bible declares you can do all things through Christ, that you are more than a conqueror. God affirms he will supply all your needs according to his limitless resources. Remember what’s true and do not start second-guessing what God has called you to accomplish

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:37‬ ‭ESV‬‬

A few thoughts for today:

Every problem or idea that is keeping us awake at night could have already been solved by God. Therefore, He has some purpose for allowing us to continue in it. The purpose will always include more glory for his name, and a potential for a closer walk.

When I chose to stay in anxiety, frustration, anger or contentment, I’m removing God’s purposes from my potential.

Our life are to be an inconceivable thing in that we must both worship God with every breath, and fulfill  to earthly tasks and plans.  The only way to reconcile is to minute by minute realize that God wants to be part of your common, every day drudgery. Which leads to the joyful thought that the Almighty wants to share that plain  ordinariness with you.

So to you and myself, today let’s walk. It’s not always a run, only at the end a flight (potentially), but most definitely settling into a constant dialogue with the One who inhabits eternity whose name is Holy.
